*** Fairy Lights ***

Fairy Mother & Child Lithophane Night Light - David Delamare Art

First invented in France in 1827, a LITHOPHANE ("Vision In Stone") is a porcelain engraving that virtually comes alive when illuminated from behind. The image is created by a panel of different thicknesses of translucent, kiln-fired porcelain.

Fairy Moon Porcelain Lithophane Night Light - David Delamare Design

Here's another lithophane night light. A breathtakingly detailed picture in warm sepia tones emarge when lit. These illuminated artworks are so detailed, that they are sometimes mistaken for photographs.

Catch a Falling Star - David Delamare Design Porcelain Lithophane Night Light

One more of the lithophane fairy night lights. Of course, the plug directly into the outlet like other night lights. I have this one and it is beautiful.

Woodland Sunbeams Nature - Porcelain Shadow Box Light

The box is hardwood, with a cherry, satin finish. These lithophanes are achieved by first carving the image into beeswax. The translucency of the wax allows the artist to see the result of his labor as he works. A plaster casting is taken, then a fine porcelain paste is pressed into this mold and kiln fired.

*** Music ***

In Elven Lands.

Songs in Elvish, English and Anglo-Saxon. A musician I have always though of as an Elf in the real world, Jon Anderson joined with other recording artists to make this Tolkien inspired music.

Fairiy Heart Magic.

The most recent from Gary Stadler, Celtic harpist Lisa Lynne, and vocalist Stepahnnie. It is a work of gentle music and fantasy lyric. It joins the ranks of some of the most peaceful music many of us enjoy in Second Life treasures like Elven Forest.

Fresh Aire III.

This is the third in the Fresh Aire series. It is and oldie, but I don't know of a collection that speaks the sounds of the Elven and Fae forest than this one. Simply magical.
